Creating Space for Baby Room: Starting with the Basics

Looking forward a new born baby is exciting for a family. 

It will be natural to prepare a space for the baby and getting the nursery ready by buying pieces of furniture and equipment you can find.

However if not carefully planned, the space will be cluttered with all the purchases.

As such exercise planning and design helps to build a comfortable and practical environment for you and your new baby.

Starting with the basic design:

An Ideal baby’s room is both pretty and practical, these days young parents are choosing contemporary, sophisticated pieces that match the house design.

Types of lines: 

Vertical Lines: It can comes in form of columns, high ceilings, or tall windows, add height to room. These vertical line offset the horizontal lines found in most furniture.

Horizontal Lines: These horizontal lines can be found in furniture and it bring relaxation.

Curved Lines: Curved Lines can be found at the arched window, oval table or overstuffed armchair. It created an aura of freedom softness and sensuality.

Try to include a variety of lines into baby’s room, horizontal striped wallcovering or a tall piece of furniture. Bring up more interests through some curves from furniture, moldings or accessories.

Avoid many colors especially those colors that will contrast too much, it can be soar eyes.

This will create an impact that of furniture out of scale and disrupt harmony.
